Position Description:

We are looking for a PMO Analyst who will be responsible for assisting in managing the IT portfolio of initiatives and its associated governance processes. Reporting to the PMO Director, the PMO Analyst will act as an advisor to IT leaders on Project Portfolio Management.

In this role you will:

• Assist with oversight of the IT portfolio of initiatives, including:
  • Manage resource forecasting, allocations and utilization reporting
  • Analyze project and portfolio data, develop metrics & benchmarks, and provide insightful reporting to support management decisions
  • Ensure a rigorous follow-up of all initiatives and their compliance with data quality and governance standards
  • Assist with financial and resource demand reporting
  • Support portfolio project and milestone planning and tracking
  • Review and monitor all IT projects for project performance and perform regular project audits and prepare reports for the same
  • Prepare various reports to identify all health risks and coordinate with the project manager to facilitate all follow-up action

• Assist with IT Portfolio evolution, including:
  • Participate in the improvement of project and portfolio management methodologies
  • Encourage Project Portfolio Management maturity by coaching and influencing the stakeholder community
  • Support processes and standards documentation activities in a centralized PMO knowledge base
  • Act as a liaison between business departments and IT by educating stakeholders about planning practices and regularly identifying areas for improvement

• Portfolio Reporting, including
  • Analyze portfolio data and project deliverables and ensure adherence to all timeframe requirements
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and prepare reports
  • Provide ad-hoc reports as directed
  • Create materials for various management reviews and meetings
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to the project managers and program director as required
  • Ensures SLA adherence for status updates, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Communicate status updates and issues in a concise and timely manner

• Position the PMO as a trusted partner by striving for excellence and communicating with conviction

• Lead small/tactical projects, as needed
• Assist in the closure activities for all projects and perform required benefit analysis in collaboration with the project team and maintain a record of all IT governance meetings
• Carry out all other related task

Must Have:

• Expert-level knowledge of Excel with macro programming experience is a MUST
• Expert-level knowledge of MS Project is a MUST
• Expert-level knowledge of project management reporting tools is a MUST (e.g., OnePlan, PP5,

Clarizen, Clarity)

• Experience in end-to-end resource management – plan, forecast, actual
• Experience working in a PMO group is a MUST
• Expert-level knowledge of collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA)
• Strong understanding of project management and IT governance (e.g., ITIL, PMBOK, Scrum)
• PMP or similar certifications strongly desired
• 8+ years of relevant work experience (e.g. project management, PMO support, business

analysis)

• Experience working within an IT department or related environment is strongly preferred
• End to end understanding of IT life cycle (pipeline, resource, demand, project delivery, financial)
• Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills
• Extremely diligent and attentive to details
• Effective communicator at all levels with excellent English written and spoken skills
• Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
• Outstanding self-management, influence management, information presentation and interpersonal, communication
