Position Description:

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer that is eager to have significant influence on a massive technology modernization using nothing but the best products, patterns and practices!

 In this role, you will be:

• Creating, executing, debugging and maintaining automation and manual test scripts that are complete, accurate and consistent
• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
• Being an active participant in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Working closely with product managers and developers to understand and test new functionality
• Accountable for the quality and usability of the delivered product
• Performing functional, regression, and performance testing
• Driving continuous improvement in test coverage and test effectiveness
• Execute Load-Test and Performance testing duties
• Report bugs, track defects, resolve issues with software developers
• Track problem reports using issue tracking software.
• Keep track of new requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to create responsive and compelling user interactions.
• Participate in software design reviews and peer code reviews
• Analyze business and design requirements
• Automated test plan & strategy creation using risk-based approach
• Analyze and write test standards, procedures and reports.
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
• Maintaining open communication channels with all project’s stakeholders to ensure the applications are at the highest possible level of quality.
• Periodically review the testing methodology to ensure the most optimal results.

Must Have:

• Must have experience building and/or enhancing Java Testing Frameworks.
• 5-7 years experience with automation and manual testing of web-based applications in an agile environment
• At least 3 years as a Senior Test Automation Engineer
• Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly, and apply them accurately through an evolving, dynamic environment
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks like protractor/jasmine
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Advanced working knowledge of Java language
• Experience using testing frameworks like Junit, TestNG
• Experience with testing SOAP/REST web APIs
• Experience with language independent data formats like JSON and XML
• Knowledge of oracle and/or other relational databases
• Working experience implementing test code within a continuous integration and delivery pipeline
