Description

The CFO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s growth and profitability.

We are looking for an experienced CFO with a strong background in US and Canadian laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the E-commerce or gaming industries and be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US and Canadian laws and regulations, including tax and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s growth and profitability.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to the senior management team to support decision-making.
• Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Oversee the company’s financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls.
• Manage the company’s cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity to support operations and growth.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks and implement risk management strategies.
• Work closely with the CEO and senior management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team and ensure they effectively manage their responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least five years of experience in a senior financial management position.
• Strong knowledge of US and Canadian laws and regulations including taxation.
• Prior experience in the E-commerce or gaming industries is a strong advantage.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
