Description

There is an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to design and implement cutting-edge security solutions that address the complex challenges of modern digital ecosystems. This role involves designing secure architectures for SaaS and PaaS platforms, leveraging Microsoft Azure Cloud, and ensuring compliance with frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to drive risk and vulnerability assessments, governance, and compliance initiatives while introducing advanced security practices into our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions, including detailed architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
• Define and maintain secure application architectures, focusing on SaaS, PaaS, and microservice environments within the Azure Cloud ecosystem.
• Implement and oversee adherence to security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Ensure regulatory compliance through robust security auditing and monitoring processes.
• Lead the evolution of the Secure Software/Application Development Lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into application design, deployment, and operation.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and technology vendors to implement innovative solutions.
• Lead the evaluation of emerging cybersecurity technologies to improve productivity and system resilience.
• Develop proactive incident response protocols and oversee systems for continuous security monitoring.
• Drive alignment between security operations and business objectives, ensuring seamless integration of new tools and technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong experience (8–10 years) in cybersecurity architecture and solution design.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud Security, microservice architecture, and SaaS/PaaS environments.Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity tools like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Proven ability to design and implement security strategies aligned with NIST, ISO, ISF, SOC 2, and other industry standards.
• Advanced knowledge of secure web and cloud-based applications, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with emerging security technologies and trends, including IoT and containerized environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
• Relevant certifications include CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Azure Security Associate.
