Description

It is an outstanding opportunity to join a fast-paced team and provide support to the Systems Applications Team. You’ll contribute to ongoing enhancements and improvements of current applications while developing new features to deliver a better experience for the customers. This role involves working across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), with a strong focus on maintaining and supporting internal custom solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and deploy applications.
• Work with key front-end and back-end technologies, including Angular 6+, Java 8+ with Spring
• Engage in full SDLC process, delivering constant technical support.
• Modernize legacy applications, including migrating from Struts to Spring Boot.
• Support upgrading front-end frameworks to Angular 8+.
• Perform maintenance on J2EE applications, deployed on WebSphere Application Server.
• Collaborate with leads and consultants to apply best practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in full SDLC using Agile methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in Angular, Java, and Spring.
• Proven experience with databases, such as Postgres, Oracle, or SQL.
• Experience with version control (GitHub), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and deployment using Docker.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, and effective use of Jira/Confluence for documentation.
• Proven ability to solve technical challenges and contribute to open-source projects.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or IT-related field.
