Organization:

Our client is embarking on a number of business transformation initiatives. From replacing the core Mainframe business application with an ERP system (SAP) and enabling Dealer and Customer access to business data, to enabling telematics technology; collecting wealth of data; and turning on key telematics services for our customer.

Position Description:

We are seeking IT Security Compliance Auditor to maintain/create procedures, policies and standards, ensuring that information is protected and available to the business in a timely fashion. You will be assessing security compliance both internally and externally using both questionnaires and in person audits. You will be maintaining knowledge of applicable compliance requirements and how they would be implemented in the new system.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Internal and external audits using multiple standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GISG, ATSG
  • Develop and maintain enterprise security policies and procedures
  • Lead the coordination and completion of information security operations documentation
  • Work with information security management to develop strategies and plans to enforce security requirements
  • Report any risk, vulnerabilities and other security issues to management
  • Work with IT department and members of the information security team to identify, select and implement technical controls
  • Provide direct support to the business and IT staff for security related issues and gaps
  • Maintain an awareness of security and control issues in emerging technologies
  • Develop and manage multiyear security remediation programs

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Security Compliance audit, working with NIST, ISO 27001
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • Understanding of security standards and compliance frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
  • Familiarity of compliance reporting and certifications
  • Experience developing security and compliance deliverables
  • Experience managing projects across departmental teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enable effective problem resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong management skills
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision
  • CISA and CRISC certifications is a plus
