Responsibilities

The Microsoft Office Administrator person must complete and carry out tasks that include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide centralized administrative support to the unit.
• Review unit administrative files for the Commanding Officer’s action, approval or recommendation;
• Be ready to brief the Commanding Officer on administrative files.
• Managing multiple staff calendars.
• Drafting correspondence for review and approval using Microsoft Word.
• Draft emails using Microsoft Outlook.
• Consolidation and follow-up of a variety of electronic spreadsheets to track and update data using Microsoft Excel.
• Be able to navigate Microsoft SharePoint (Army Collaborative Information Management System (ACIMS) in order to upload, manage, update, and archive files;
• Monitor PACE, grievances, harassment complaints, sexual misconducts files, hateful conduct files, and administrative reviews;
• Keep updated on Workplace requirements via local professional development and online courses;

Qualifications

• An Enhanced Reliability security clearance is required.
• College degree in Administration (or equivalent)
• Needs to be able to use Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and other software systems.
• Needs to be able to work independently.
