Description
We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Automation Consultant to join a team of 5-10 QA members. Responsible for build testing automation platform, implementation and administration of testing in an enterprise Agile DevOps, Cloud (Azure, AWS), Selenium, LoadRunner environment, maintaining central repositories for all testing assets, building and maintaining automated test scripts using QTP/UFT, TAO and BPCA as well as Business Process Testing. This is an opportunity to work very closely with the QA Manager on all aspects of testing while developing relationships at the enterprise level with multiple business units.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement automation roadmap Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual execution time, achieve faster time to market based on ROI business case submissions to stakeholders
• Create and implement automation solution for projects for UI, API, Mobile and performance testing
• Hands-on technical leadership to the team on tools and methods such as CodeceptsJS, ReadyAPI, Selenium, loadrunner, Azure DevOps, Client-ALM, Mobile app simulator tools, BrowserStack, Cross-browser testing and Accessibility testing
• Establish and implement standards, guidelines and best practices for test automation in DevOps environment
• Integrate automated solutions to DevOps pipelines Implement continuous testing in DevOps pipelines
• Implement nightly comprehensive test execution to for regular feedback on product health Work on implementing test pyramid for application automation
• Designing and implementing virtualization solutions using ReadyAPI
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in automation and provide recommendations to project teams

Qualifications:

• 4 + years of QA experience in the IT Application Development, 2 years in DevOps environment
• 2 + years QA Automation platform implementation
• 3 plus years’ experience in patch management and upgrades
• 3 plus years testing with web-based N-Tier architecture, high transactional systems
• Experience with Windows Server and Unix Operating Systems
• Experience with automated and non-automated test harnesses
• Usability research and testing experience
• Deep knowledge in Software Product Development processes and design, including Agile
• Deep understanding of platform integration patterns and APIs, system integrations, development of architectural/high level designs within defined architectural frameworks
• Ability to run code reviews and enforce coding best practices

Nice to have Skills:

• Experience Leading QA Automation teams
• Experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Experience creating automated QTP/UFT scripts in an SAP and a web environment utilizing BPT
• Experience in SQl testing
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate business partners
• Background in Banking and/or financial sector
