Description
An exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in IT and cybersecurity to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects across a variety of initiatives. This role involves managing all phases of the project life cycle, including planning, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of contact between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and seamless execution. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage technical interdependencies and guide project teams through ambiguity and change. This is a remote position, working in a dynamic environment with a competitive pay rate in a globally well-established organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full life cycle of multiple IT and security-related projects, from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, develop project plans, set milestones, and manage schedules to meet deadlines.
• Perform project analysis and risk assessments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Contribute to the development of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and contingency plans.
• Recommend improvements to project management processes, tools, and standards.
• Support system and process optimization by offering technical insights and acting as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of proven experience in technical project management within IT or security domains.
• Proven expertise in managing project scope, schedules, and cross-functional team coordination.
• Strong communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Atlassian suite, and optionally Clarity PPM.
• Cybersecurity knowledge or experience in areas like Security Operations, DLP, VM, or Insider Threat is a strong asset.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments such as finance or banking is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely with occasional site visits and flexibility to operate within Eastern Time (ET) working hours.
