Description

An exciting opportunity for a Technical IT Project Manager with a strong background in Software Development and cybersecurity to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects across a variety of initiatives. This role involves managing all phases of the project life cycle, including planning, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of contact between business units and technical teams. You’ll thrive in this role if you bring leadership, problem-solving, and communication excellence — along with deep technical experience in areas such as cryptographic systems, secure software delivery, and cloud-native tooling (AWS, Azure). This is a remote position, working in a dynamic environment with a competitive pay rate in a globally well-established organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full life cycle of multiple IT and security-related projects, from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, develop project plans, set milestones, and manage schedules to meet deadlines.
• Perform project analysis and risk assessments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Provide technical insights during planning phases, especially about security, cloud environments, and DevOps practices.
• Contribute to the development of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and contingency plans.
• Support system and process optimization by offering technical insights and acting as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT Experience, including 5+ years of proven experience in technical project management within IT or cybersecurity domains.
• 8+ years in software development or engineering with a focus on API design, secure coding practices, and key management system implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps (CICD/IaC), and container orchestration tools.
• 3+ years of experience working in highly regulated environments, such as financial services, banking, or investment.
• 2+ experience in managing integration projects related to Data Security and Cryptography.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language: Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash, C#, or Java.
• Proven expertise in managing project scope, schedules, and cross-functional team coordination.
• Strong communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Atlassian suite, and optionally Clarity PPM.
• Cybersecurity knowledge or experience in areas like Security Operations, DLP, VM, or Insider Threat is a strong asset.
