Responsibilities
Proactively source and qualify new B2B opportunities across industrial and commercial sectors
Research accounts and run structured outbound campaigns via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
Engage daily with prospects and maintain consistent follow-up to build momentum
Identify decision-makers and influencers within complex organizations
Qualify leads based on load profiles, energy cost drivers, and program eligibility
Schedule high-quality discovery meetings and gather site data and utility info for analysis
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure seamless handoffs and share field insights
Maintain accurate CRM records, track activity, and meet or exceed pipeline generation goals
Qualifications
3+ years in a BDR, SDR, or outbound B2B sales role
Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., energy managers, executives)
High attention to detail, organizational discipline, and CRM accuracy
Exposure to energy markets, utilities, SaaS, or industrial clients is an asset
Familiarity with demand response, utility billing, or energy risk management concepts
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a consultative approach
French fluency is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
