THE POSITION
We are looking for an experienced, levelheaded Cloud Enablement Architect who is looking for a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to grow our cloud technology roadmap.  A successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and a passion for developing new technologies in the public cloud. As technologies evolve, we need a team of people who will grow and adapt to new best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design new technology requirements for common financial/banking platform
  • Coordinate with application and platform architects on new cloud technology initiatives
  • Design authority for Enterprise Cloud Patterns & Practices

QUALIFICATION

  • 10+ years of experience in advanced computing disciplines
  • 5+ years of hands-on public cloud infrastructure experience (Azure, AWS)
  • A solid grasp of development, automation, and monitoring tools and practices (Terraform/Grafana/Ansible/Puppet/PowerShell/Python/GitHub Actions)
  • Solution design and deployment of resilient, HA, Highly Scalable & DR architecture
  • Strong Architecture knowledge, experience with microservices architecture
  • Strong commitment to standardization
  • Strong experience documenting standards and best practices
  • Expert knowledge of container provisioning and management (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering or computer science preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to deliver long-term, repeatable IaC solutions that incorporate directly into an automated process
  • Experience leading root cause analysis of incidents using incident post-mortems
  • Working knowledge of public cloud IaaS & PaaS platforms
  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure orchestration
  • Experience monitoring container-based microservices & public cloud platform services
  • Knowing agile methodology and being able to work by its principals
  • Shows strong leadership capabilities
  • Effectively communicates across all organizational levels
  • Fluent English skills
