Description

The Project Manager can expect to work in a hybrid model of Project Management and Agile, helping non-technical teams to establish and execute near and medium terms goals and deliverables aligned to the program roadmap. Primarily supporting the Working Group Leads, the Project Manager will schedule and facilitate most working group sessions and support Working Group Members in maintaining their updates in the system of record (Jira).

The Project Manager will aid in the identification of dependencies and elimination of blockers to support the team in focusing on the execution of deliverables. Additionally, the Project Manager will facilitate senior and executive leadership meetings by preparing presentations/ reports and ensuring the readiness of Working Group Leads (Product Owners).

Responsibilities

• Drive the on-schedule completion of deliverables in accordance with the Program Roadmap
• Manage cross-group dependencies in collaboration with the Program Manager
• Facilitate effective execution of Working Group events (planning, recurring status update meetings, reporting to senior leaders/ steering committees)
• Build a trustful, safe work environment based on openness and transparency
• Proactively protect the team from external distractions and/or reorganization of deliverables to align to changes in priority.
• Guide and coach team discussions, decision-making, conflict resolution, and working agreements.

Qualifications

• This position requires strong business analytics, communication, and critical thinking skills. It is a position that is important and unique for it faces both internal Enterprise Risk staff, Business Partners, and senior leadership.
• Candidates must have experience leading highly visible projects in a business setting.
• Experience navigating and communicating vertically (from executive level to detailed level) is critical.
• This individual must possess a superior ability to identify developing issues that jeopardize scope, timeline, risk, and/or budget as this project progresses.
• Project reporting, governance, and transparency are also essential and must be demonstrated through previous achievements and success.
• Experience leading projects with multiple workstreams and teams of 20+
• Scrum Master experience in a business/ non-technical setting (ability to translate agile concepts to plain English)
• Experienced engaging with Business partners, establishing project schedules, and leading discussions.
• Familiarity with JIRA and scaled Agile.
• Must also possess the ability to produce high-level Executive Presentations
