In the role of Sales Associate, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for promoting and selling our diverse product range through a network of customers and distributors within your designated geographic area. This position prioritizes recruiting the right customers and cultivating future business prospects within the region, all while providing exceptional customer support and representing the company in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
– Drive aggressive sales growth in your assigned territory.
– Develop and diversify your customer base.
– Schedule and conduct sales calls, showcasing products, providing samples, and processing orders.
– Prepare quotes, proposals, and offer product information, including stock availability.
– Deliver product training to customers and support staff.
– Collaborate with customers to plan and facilitate weekend events, such as product demonstrations and merchandising.
– Assist customers with showroom product displays, POP setup, and order fulfillment.
– Contribute to national, regional, and local promotions for the brand, including trade and consumer shows.
– Secure business through monthly specials and early purchase programs.
– Compile monthly sales reports, documenting sales, activities, significant events, and competitive insights.
Qualifications:
– Prefer some post-secondary education.
– Prior experience in expanding product sales within a defined sales territory, with a focus on specialty retail.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as familiarity with various social media platforms.
– Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and work weekends when necessary.
– Ability to work effectively from a home office.
