We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Quality Assurance Specialist.  The selected candidate will have the opportunity to design and maintain test automation practice across Information Services teams based primarily on Worksoft suite of products, support test activities for project and support deployments, and influence test roadmap across Information Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and enhance overall testing strategy among applications – custom build software, package solutions, and cloud applications
• Lead and coordinate refinement of ITIL processes by integrating quality check points
• Have high level understanding of enterprise business applications and how they are used by business users to identify best approach towards test automation
• Partner with other IS members to advocate automated and manual testing methodology
• Be an active member of agile software development lifecycle, focused on test strategy for each initiative and monitor adherence to best practices, guidelines and overall test framework
• Analyse scope and provide effort estimation and timelines for the automated testing efforts
• Create automation plans, schedule test executions and report on results
• Analyse the test failures during test execution and assist the automation team to log defects in the defect tracking tool
• Produce automated test scripts within the DevSecOps process for projects and changes
• Perform quality reviews of the automated processes and provide feedback to support and project teams
• Administrator and first point of contact for all Certify technical matters, including coordination with Worksoft on version upgrade, patches releases and database updates
• Work with other teams to ensure proper integration among related software (e.g. HPALM, ServiceNow, JIRA…)
• Mentor other IS associates on best practices related to Certify and test automation practices
• Partner with other business and technology stakeholders on continuous improvement and strategy alignment
• Collaborate with local and regional I.S. teams to deliver solutions that are scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with evolving business needs
• Influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences

Must Have Skills:

• At least 5 years’ experience in implementation of test automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated software test
• Minimum 2 years of Worksoft suite of products hands on experience
• Previous exposure to SAP and / or Java development environment will be an asset
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, good judgment and effective decision-making
• Strong process improvement orientation, and experience in leading discussions to drive positive results amongst inter-disciplinary groups
