Compensation: $150-180K plus bonus (15-30K) and health/retirement plans

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to enhance secure access and connectivity globally. The role involves crafting and managing public/private cloud orchestration and networks, contributing to networking and security convergence. Success hinges on adeptness in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and building partnerships with multifunctional teams. POSITION SYNOPSIS

• Implement secure and scalable network architecture across public and private cloud infrastructure.
• Architect and upkeep cloud orchestration services on Google Cloud Platform and OpenStack.
• Engage in code reviews and meticulous documentation for effective team communication (including software engineers and both internal and outsourced development partners)
• Create unit and integration tests for all software programs, adhering to a test-driven development approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Python, Docker, Linux, and Git for effective software development.
• Ability to write clear and articulate functional and test specifications.
• Strong understanding of Networking principles and Network Security.
• Competence in SQL Databases, preferably Cockroach DB or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Private and Public Cloud Networking and Virtualization using Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and OpenStack.
• DevOps, Terraform, and proficiency in CI/CD Pipelines using tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
