THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to collaborate with channel sales in a designated region. Responsible for guiding technical aspects in pre-sales, sales calls, and customer POC’s, contributing to the overall success of the sales organization. POSITION SYNOPSIS
Assess and qualify sales leads technically during pre-sales, ensuring alignment with product capabilities.
Serve as the primary technical expert in sales calls, educating customers on features, specifications, and integration aspects.
Proficient in networking applications, with expertise in virtualization, NFV, and emerging SDN technologies.
Deliver post-sales training to identified customers, interface with Fortinet Channel partners, and participate in events, seminars, and meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in designing network and security solutions, utilizing Visio, and crafting BOMs.
Minimum 5 years of expertise in technical/pre-sales support and security
In-depth knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, and diverse technologies.
Robust understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, HTTP, RADIUS, SSL VPN, and encryption/authentication technologies.
5-7 years of background in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
Strong troubleshooting skills, adept at technical presentations, and effective communication.
Additional assets include proficiency in Wi-Fi, ACI, API, Cloud (AWS, Azure), SDN, and Data Center redundancy.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
