Responsibilities

• Focused on converting high level requirements into the architecture and design that ultimately constitute the blueprint for the solution
• Will rely on using design patterns established by other enterprise teams and previous engagements
• Work with enterprise architecture and other product teams for their reference architectures, and on guidelines
• Work hands on with the developers and guide and motivate them as well as coach and teach them how to develop their technical capabilities and adopt newer approaches.

Qualification

• Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or technical equivalent
• 10 years technical work experience or equivalent
• Minimum 4-5 years in architecture with experience consulting, designing solutions and building teams
• Experience building Scalable applications to address loads of millions of tps over time
• Experience designing various end to end systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
• Experience in agile, dev/ops and all things iterative
• Hands on knowledge of Microservices, design patterns, cloud native development
• Able to coach, and a hands on polygot that can program still and lives in the code
• Full stack capability. Comfortable designing a service one day and building UI the next
• Technical knowledge and experience in the following fields:
• Use of JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS and Angular
• HTML, CSS, Node.js experience
• Development tools such as NPM, Webpack etc
• Ability to develop and troubleshoot both front-end and backend components
• Java (Spring Framework / Spring Boot experience), or Python (advantageous)
• Databases SQL language and scripting (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Continuous Delivery
• Containerization (Docker / other), Kubernetes or other container orchestration frameworks
• AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud-based infrastructures & services
• Linux or a recognized Unix platform
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and embracing of their values and principles.
• Familiarity with Version Control systems such as git (GitLab)
