Description
As an integration architect, you will be expected to create and maintain integration architecture approaches, patterns, and decisions. Regularly presents the integration architecture-related materials to the architecture review board (ARB), creates integration approaches and methods, and detailed integration design documentation across multiple projects submitted by vendors. You will be responsible for integration interface (API) designs to identify efficient and effective approaches to develop reusable APIs. The selected candidate will be responsible to create, maintain and enforce integration architectural standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities

• Responsible for Company’s middleware and integration architecture portfolio
• Develops integration architecture standards, strategy and roadmap
• Drive Company’s MuleSoft implementation efforts, provide end-to-end architecture oversight and technical leadership
• Lead project-level architecture efforts by driving technical discussions, whiteboarding sessions and building consensus amongst solution architects for the target state integration solution and approaches
• Collaborate with solution architects (domain specialists) and lead a matrix structure team during the solution design and delivery process
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create requirements, evaluate vendor solutions and find solutions to integrate them into the environment.
• Collaborate with Information Security to ensure middleware components and integration interfaces meet security requirements
• Ensure alignment to broader enterprise architecture standards, strategies and roadmap and maximum reuse of existing technology assets to minimize technology costs and footprint
• Actively pursue avenues to simplify project integration architectures as well as the company architecture ecosystem
• Lead vendor integration solution assessments efforts, POT, POC exercises, as required
• Create and maintain conceptual current state integration architecture diagrams
• Develop conceptual integration target state architecture diagrams, ARB materials (integration solution options and recommendations, vendor evaluation and recommendations, integration solution blueprint documents)
• Review and sign off detailed integration architecture documentation ensuring alignment to solution blueprint and broader enterprise architecture standards, strategies, and roadmap
• Provide guidance and oversight of 3rd party support vendors to ensure integration technology solutions meet company standards.
• Provide subject matter expertise in middleware solutions and integration architecture
• Knowledge of middleware and integration architecture trends and new technologies and determines relevance to the Company’s ecosystem
• Work with vendors and internal teams in the creation of RFI/RFQ/RFP/SOW/A3/A4 documents.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with IS teams at other company affiliates to identify opportunities to leverage common technology.
• Review security access methods and compliance with company requirements.
• Other projects as assigned.
• Identify and review existing integration interfaces that can be leveraged and new interfaces that will need to be built to support the projects and programs
• Apply knowledge of industry trends, standards, and developments to improve data and integration delivery (ODATA, API, REST, Graph, SAP etc)
• lead integration technology and vendor evaluations and ensure the solution align with enterprise integration strategy; ensure that the integration architecture meets all non-functional requirements like Scalability, Reliability, Maintainability etc.
• Recommend integration architecture standards, tools, best practices, to enable the target state and enable data architecture evolution and alignment across the organization
• Have an “strategic perspective” and collaborate regularly with enterprise architects, solution architects to ensure Integration architecture and integration approaches are align with enterprise direction and transformation program roadmap
• Identifying strategic and tactical integration architecture solutions and an ability to influence and negotiate with colleagues, and business partners
• Develop integration approaches, options with estimates, complete a pros/cons/risks/mitigation analysis to recommend the best design given fiscal, time and resource constraints.
• Provide validation of effort estimates from the Vendor Product Engineering and Solution Architect teams
• Work with other architects in developing technical solutions with particular focus on end to end integration approaches

Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business or relevant experience in Information Management.
• Wholesale, retail, automotive, and manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of large-scale integration design and delivery leadership experience (either matrix or direct reporting structure)
• Minimum 5 years of integration architecture (Legacy and modern approaches)
• 10+ years of progressive experience with Middleware administration including scripting, system deployment automation, hardware, sizing
• Experience with large-scale middleware deployments (HA environments)
• Advanced knowledge of Middleware technologies IBM WAS, JBoss, Tibco, MQ, MFT, EDI, IIB/ESB, MuleSoft
• Proven strategic thinker with the ability to assess the current state against the target state and provide the big picture, and future visions.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including influencing, collaborating, facilitating, and negotiating skills.
• Must be able to present to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to lead and manage projects and proof of concepts.
• Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that varying IT and Business Teams may understand.
• Outstanding communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• General knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.
• Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills and creative thinking.

• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
